Breezy Hill:  Take Highway 165 north out of Alexandria to Pollock.  About 8 miles north of Pollock is Highway 123.  Turn left onto Highway 123 and go about 6 miles to Forest Road 145. There will be a black top to the left and gravel to the right.  The sign for 145 cannot be seen until you are at the crossroad and look north on 145.   Turn north onto 145 and about 1/2 mile on the right is a camping and parking area.  The camping is primitive.

There are well over 100 miles of trails here.  Most can be ridden by four-wheelers but are better suited for dirt bikes.  This is piney woods area with sandy soil and not much mud.  Enduros are run here during the summer. Because the trails are unmarked and it is easy to get lost it would be a good idea to carry a GPS.

Kisatchie National Forest can close if there is too much rain.  Call 318-765-3555 for information, or you can check the National Forest web site at: http://www.r8web.com/kisatchie/
